Lunch Visitors

Family members are welcome to visit for lunch. If a family member plans to visit, please have the family member contact the school office before 8:30 the day they intend to visit. If they would like to place a lunch order from the cafeteria, they should place that with the office who they call that morning. Visitors can either pay cash at the lunch room ($4/lunch) or have it deducted from the student’s lunch ticket. We do ask that family members keep lunch visits to one per week. When visitors arrive, they should sign in at the Family Life Center and receive a visitor’s pass. Thank you for communicating these guidelines to family members who visit for lunch.

We have so many new faces around GCS this year! Each week for the next few newsletters, we will highlight both a new staff member and a returning staff member to help all of us get to know each other better.

Bailey Goforth | Miss Goforth joined our staff this year as our Fifth Grade Teacher. We are excited that Miss Goforth gets to begin her teaching experience here at Grace. She is a recent graduate of Pensacola Christian College with a B.S. in Elementary Education. We are looking forward to many years of service here at GCS with Miss Goforth.

Jeannie Sleigher | Mrs. Sleigher has been on staff at Grace since 1984. For many, she is simply known as “Momma Sleigher.” The care she shows to students is evident and has made a lasting impact on generations of students. She has served in the high school office all of these years. We are excited for her that she has decided to retire. We will be celebrating her ministry at GCS on Saturday, January 14, at our alumni event. We will miss her but count ourselves blessed to have served along side her these many years.
