We have so many new faces around GCS this year! Each week for the next few newsletters, we will highlight both a new staff member and a returning staff member to help all of us get to know each other better.
Colton Gideons | Mr. Gideons, “Pastor Colton”, is a first year teacher at GCS. He teaches the 9th-10th grade boys Bible class. When not in class, Pastor Colton serves as our Outreach Pastor at Grace Baptist Church. He and his wife, Aly, met while attending West Coast Baptist College. They were married in March 2019 and moved to North Carolina so Colton could attend Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. After seminary, the Gideons came to GBC. They have one daughter, and Aly is due in February with their second.
Anne Smith | Miss Smith is a former GCS student, and she returned this past fall to work as an administrative assistant and teach music lessons. Miss Smith attended Grace from K3-12th grade. While a student, she was highly active in sports and the fine arts. After graduating from Grace Christian School in 2018, she went to Bob Jones University to study Cello Performance. Some of Miss Smith’s hobbies include pickleball, music, watercolors, and reading any practical book.
Lindsie Ware | Mrs. Ware has been at Grace Christian School for 7 years. She has worked in our daycare and is now our full time art teacher. She and her husband have two wonderful boys that each attend GCS. A fun fact about Mrs. Ware is that she won a Hallmark card contest and had her card sold in stores! One last thing, Mrs. Ware absolutely loves everything Christmas and wishes you all a very merry one!
