The Lions Varsity golf team has had a great season. They are 12 and 2 in match play and will be heading to the State Tournament to face Oconee for the SCACS State Title. Junior Tyler Smith is the favorite for medalist going into the tournament. Strong play by Senior Caleb Martin has helped secure the Lions’ first trip to State as a full team. Coach David Smith, in his twelfth year as head coach, is excited about the progress players have made over the years.
