We are excited to introduce to the GCS family our incoming school administrator, Mr. Gavin Lockaby. Mr. Lockaby has earned both a B.A. in Political Science and an M.S. in Educational Leadership from Pensacola Christian College. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Leadership with a concentration in education from the University of the Cumberlands.
Mr. Lockaby worked as Assistant Director of Distance Learning for Pensacola Christian College before joining the Northside Christian School (North Charleston, SC) faculty in 2017 and has been serving as the Northside administrator since 2018. Born and raised in the South Carolina Piedmont and graduate of a SCACS-member school, Mr. Lockaby is married to Mrs. Abby Lockaby and, together, they have three children – Aiden (4), Camille (2), and Layton (6 mos.).
Mr. Lockaby will be moving to West Columbia and will begin his work at Grace in mid-June.
SUPERSTART BASKETBALL CAMP | June 12-15
We would like to invite your child to join us for a fun-filled week of SuperStart basketball camp. SuperStart will be hosted by Coach Danny and Joy Lancaster. Coach Danny has coached many camps over the years including Nike, Tennessee Temple and Charleston Southern University. He has directed his own camp for over 15 years. He is currently the Athletic Director and Varsity Head Basketball Coach at Tuscaloosa Christian School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
