Four GCS students were selected to attend the SC Association of Christian School’s State Legislative Breakfast at the State House in Columbia on Thursday, January 23, with Administrator Tim Stevens. Those students were Travis Belyus, Lauren Blackmon, Katelin Harper, and Justin Townsend. The students ate breakfast with Mr. Stevens and got a chance to interact with students from other schools and legislators from around the state. After a short challenge from Mr. Ed Earwood, Executive Director of SCACS, the students were able to tour the State House and be recognized in the SC House of Representatives.
