FROM THE KITCHEN:
We have an amazing lunch program here at Grace Christian School! As we have evaluated our program, we have decided to make a few changes this year regarding the salad options available to the students.
1. Students in Grades 1-12 will be able to order a salad lunch. Students will need to be prepared to choose a meat and salad dressing when they order. Please ask your child’s teacher for specific choices available.
2. Students will no longer be able to order the salad entree as an option as they have in the past.

SECURITY AND SAFETY AWARENESS:
We are truly thankful for the trust that you put in Grace Christian School for the education of your children. We strive to provide a great education in a loving and safe environment. In the culture in which we live, we are reminded far too often how much we have to focus on safety and security. Each year, our faculty receive training in emergency protocols for various situations. We plan drills to help the students learn what is expected if an emergency were to take place. We are thankful for the service of Mr. Kris Pfaehler as a reserve deputy for the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department and his service as a resource officer here at GCS. We continue to hold the security and safety of our campus as a high priority and have made upgrades in the past months to make our buildings more secure. Thank you for the opportunity to serve your family at Grace. As we partner with you, let us all consistently thank God for His protection in the past and continually seek His protection for the future.

Monday 8/22: Popcorn Chicken Bowl, Biscuit, Shredded Cheese, Green Peas, Ice Cream
